- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪This surgeon did a total knee replacement and he does not give anything for pain other then Percoset every 4 hours and he authorizes an IV Push every 4 hours. I have never known this surgery to be done anywhere in the USA that the surgeon didn't order a continuous infusion of pain relief for the first 3 days post op. I would never recommend anyone go through this much agony for a surgery when it was so unnecessary for any patient to have to endure pain related to sawing off the ends of the leg bones and replacing the removed knee with a metal knee. Pain should have been better controlled. Be warned that if you have surgery this doctor does not believe in his patients being comfortable. The pain was horrendous. He also instructed the patient not to talk to her patient advocate because the advocate was incensed about the lack of pain control!December 24, 2016by A Google User
